Why the Dragonfly?
Dragonflies are ancient insects and have been around well before the dinosaurs. Having flown the earth for 300 million years, a dragonfly symbolizes one’s ability to overcome times of hardship and connection with mind, body and soul. Sighting a dragonfly is meant to remind us to take time out to reconnect with our own strength, courage and happiness.
Let the wings of a Dragonfly lift you to the mountaintop.
A Dragonfly is a Survivor and so too is Sonya Phillips - energetic, compassionate, pragmatic, intuitive and unstoppable!

DRAGONFLY TALE
A Navaho Emergence Myth about the Dragonfly
Spider wanted to visit the Gods, so she spun her web - cast it high and landed. Then she did this again, and again. There came a time when spider could go no further.
She had used all her web, all her skill and finally all her strength. She didn’t know
what to do next. Dragonfly appeared. “Cast some web and give it to me, Spider.”
She spun what little was left and threw it to Dragonfly. Dragonfly soared to the abode
of the Gods taking Spider with her so she could complete her journey.
The moral of this tale is, that when you’ve done all you can and can’t see where to go next –
You can always call for help to reach the heights you are striving for.....
As recalled by a friend from her spiritual journeys
